Freedoms and rights are alive, they can be extended, transformed and re-invented thanks to a variety of artistic languages especially if young people are allowed to create new independent experiences.<br \/><strong>Specific Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A) Strengthening and extending the NGO Walking Arts\u2019 framework and its associative network by involving a higher number of artists, girls and boys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B) Developing professional competences in a variety of artistic fields with the aim of creating innovative employment possibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C) Valorising young Iraqi artists at the international level through visibility and debate-oriented occasions with artists from all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>* Strengthening of the NGO Walking Arts<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Allowing the NGO to stabilise its operativity, to create connections among the different associates and expand participation to start bigger activities in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More specifically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; activations of an office in Dohuk, another one in Italy and creation of other local focal points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; management of multimedia communication through the website www.walkingarts.org, social networks (FB, Instagram and YouTube) and through the production of informative materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; training for the NGO personnel<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; organisation of a Walking Camp, a festival with debates among the associates, moments of sharing concerning future projects with other young artists and young people in a completely free environment, meeting with local and international hosts and public events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>* Professionalisation in the use of artistic languages<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Training on the use of different forms of arts as a way to develop new employment and entrepreneurial activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; training on musicotherapy and on educational technology for the disabilities through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; strengthening of professional skills in event-organising<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; training on music production<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; training on the use and techniques of comics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>* Valorisation at the international level<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Extending the visibility of the Iraqi artistic scenario both abroad and at the national level with the organisation of international events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More in the detail:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; production of a new CD Walking Sounds #2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; realisation of Walking Sounds Tour #3, third tourn\u00e9e of Mshakht musicians in Italy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; different comic-books publications<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; organisation of the first International Comics Festival in Iraq in Sulaymaniyah at the Tobacco Factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The project acts in synergy with two other projects: \u201cARTE PER IL SOCIALE\u201d with the contribution of the cosmetics company Lush Italia and \u201cARTE PER IL SOCIALE\u201d with the contribution of<\/strong><strong> CCFD \u2013 Terre Solidaire.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Coordinated by the NGO Walking Arts \u2013 Art, Culture &amp; Heritage and the volunteer organisation Associazione Ya Basta Caminantes with the contribution of FAI &#8211; Fondation Assistance Internationale<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/w...\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.walkingarts.org\/en_GB\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/140"}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.walkingarts.org\/en_GB\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.walkingarts.org\/en_GB\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.walkingarts.org\/en_GB\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.walkingarts.org\/en_GB\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=140"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"http:\/\/www.walkingarts.org\/en_GB\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/140\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":141,"href":"http:\/\/www.walkingarts.org\/en_GB\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/140\/revisions\/141"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.walkingarts.org\/en_GB\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=140"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
