{"id":170,"date":"2020-07-03T15:32:14","date_gmt":"2020-07-03T13:32:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.walkingarts.org\/?page_id=170"},"modified":"2020-07-03T15:32:15","modified_gmt":"2020-07-03T13:32:15","slug":"walking-sounds-tour-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.walkingarts.org\/en_GB\/walking-sounds-tour-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Walking Sounds Tour #2"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Coordinated by Associazione Caminantes \u2013 Padova and financed by Padua Municipality \u2013 Assessorato alla Pace, Diritti Umani e Cooperazione internazionale (department of Peace, Human Rights and International Development)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Partners:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fondazione Charlemagne<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un ponte per\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walking Arts \u2013 Art, Culture &amp; Heritage Baghdad<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obl\u00f2 APS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project finished in 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Objective<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Promoting the importance of international cooperation to develop a peace culture through meetings and debates among citizens and a delegation of young Iraqi artists \u2013 the founders of the NGO Walking Arts, considered an excellent example of art powers when treating complex issues like social cohesion and employment creation in post-conflict contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Activities<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Realisation of meetings with Paduan high schools, Padua university and citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Realisation of a concert and a music workshop with the young Paduan musicians of Jam Migrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Realisation of a booklet with Iraqi comics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Activities carried out<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Iraqi Delegation composed by Saman Kareem, Niwar Ismat Issa, Zhalian Karim Ahmed e Mohammed Abdullah Ahmed Almakhedher arrived in Padua on October 30<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A variety of debates have been organised to inform on the Iraqi social and cultural situation at Libreria delle Donne, at \u201cCentro\u201d in Ponterotto and at the siege of \u201cCoalizione Civica\u201d in Padua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On November 2nd a concert at \u201cBarco Teatro\u201d took place with \u201cNew Landscape\u201d musicians Luca Chiavinato, Francesco Ganassin, Silvia Rinaldi and Sergio Marchesini. Another concert was held in Mogliano Veneto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On November 4th a music workshop took place with the Iraqi Delegation and Paduan musicians.
